They are a big part of the fire service history of the United States. Being a part of the fire service family for over 30 years (my husband is a volunteer fireman) we appreciate early efforts of firefighting and how it changed over the years.

One of our favorite campgrounds in the past 10+ years of camping is Ramblewood Campground and Cabins in Pittsburgh New Hampshire. It’s a family-owned private campground, set on 180 acres, which offers electric and water at most sites.
What a View! That’s all I can say, together with great and friendly owners makes for a very enjoyable stay. The campground is on a hill that overlooks the Connecticut Lakes. We loved having our cocktails at night looking at the view and enjoying the sunset. It was like living in paradise for a few days!
