Although you are maybe expecting a crayon factory tour, this is not what you will be seeing. You will find a fun-filled day for the whole family at the Crayola Experience.

Instead of touring a factory, Crayola has put together 23 one-of-a-kind attractions designed to inspire imagination through play to your children. Your kids will learn by playing, all about color chemistry and magic combined to make the whole Crayola Experience.

You will be able to see how crayons are made as Crayola has moved some of their machinery to the experience to demonstrate the exact procedures of crayon making in a safe environment. You will get to see the color mixing and melting and finally the forming into crayons. They will also show you commercials and how they advertised their products through the years.

Long Island North Fork

Welcome to Long Island North Fork. The east end of Long Island is divided into the north fork and the south fork. Although both are special places to visit and very different from the rest of Long Island, the north fork is the most rural, simply beautiful place to experience. You will never believe you are only 90 miles from New York City as you ride through “the country” and see all the vineyards and local farms.

From wineries and breweries, a fun day in Greenport, the best seafood and pie you can find anywhere in New York, museums, and history, and of course beaches and beautiful scenery, Long Island North Fork is a pleasant day trip or weekend getaway from NYC and other tri-state areas.

Best Airbnb in the White Mountains

Looking for the best Airbnb in the White Mountains of New Hampshire is the first step in planning a relaxing and fun-filled vacation in the mountains.

The White Mountains is a hikers paradise with 700 named mountains with the highest being Mount Washington at 6288 ft., the highest peak in the Northeast. Along with the lush forests, pristine lakes, and rivers this area one of the best places to vacation in New England.

There is so much to see and do in the area from hiking, boating, climbing, paddling, and biking in the warmer months and skiing, snow tubing, and snowmobiling during the winter. But my favorite time is fall when the landscape comes alive with vivid colors of reds, oranges, and yellows.

For more information on things to do in the area check out this vacation guide.

Also, check out the Cog Railway for a must-do, once in a lifetime, experience.

Here is a list of the best and unique Airbnb in the White Mountains. These are affordable options (especially when priced out per person) with a few luxury homes as well.

Some have hot tubs, some have stunning views, some offer game rooms and some are near water (lake or river). Some have fireplaces for a cold winter night and most have outside fire pits for toasting smores and more. But all have great reviews so families, couples, and friends can relax and enjoy all that New Hampshire’s White Mountains have to offer.
